Here's a full breakdown of the strong points, the weak points, my favorite moments, and how the night will effect the election! The final debate of the 2024 cycle was by far the best one!

Today is Wednesday, October 2, 2024. We are 34 days away from the 2024 election.

Here’s this week’s special edition of “What’s Up, America? 🇺🇸” reacting to last night’s final debate of the 2024 cycle as I head off to school this morning:

First of all, the final debate of the 2024 cycle was by far the best one!
Second of all, it was a bad night to be Tim Walz! He lived up to his name and waltzed around most of the questions. He didn’t have a Joe Biden level performance, but he certainly didn’t inspire confidence in his ticket! Vance on the other hand impressed big time and stamped his ticket to be a candidate in 2028!
Here’s the notes I jotted down throughout the night for y’all:
Vance starting the first answer by introducing himself and his background is POWERFUL! If you’ve read or watched Hillbilly Elogy, it was a summary of it in 15 seconds and incredibly moving! JD Vance is the American Dream and by telling his story, he can bring hope to voters that the dream is attainable!
Vance’s strongest asset is being previously Anti-Trump as he’s using it to reach out to Never-Trumpers and show how he won him over! Powerful!
The moderators incorrectly fact checked Vance, Vance corrected them by directly quoting U.S. law, the moderators cut Vance’s mic. Tell me this isn’t 3 v 1!
Vance calling out Biden/Harris for funding Iran and that money being used to attack Israel yesterday was major! Bravo!
Vance correctly pointed out that Harris has only wanted to fix the nation she’s broken when she wanted a job promotion!
“Who has been the VP for the past four years? You’re running mate, not mine!” - JD Vance to Tim Walz as a I clap like my football team just scored
"Governor Walz can criticize Donald Trump's tweets but his peace through strength works!" - also JD Vance
Vance laid out a clear plan of why he’s energy independent and Harris’ policies led to more U.S. energy creation in China.
Walz attempted to claim Harris is suddenly all pro-border but overlooked the fact she has ignored her job securing the border for the past 3 1/2 years!
Walz used the example of being a “good soldier”, yet he’s the same guy who abandoned his squad when it was time for them to deploy!
CBS called out Walz for lying about his travel record. Walz response: I grew up on a dirt road riding bikes. I’m a knuckle head at times…that’s worse than Harris’ “middle class family” dodge when asked about her economic plan!
Love Vance including Walz in answers “we both agree on…” to show humility, unity, and bipartisanship we desperately need!
Walz gave off good vibes. He sounded good in opening/closing when he was reading off a memorized script, but anytime his feet were held to the fire on specific policies or plans, he failed miserably
JD Vance is a really good communicator and even better debater. Tim Walz gave more policy details than his running mate has the whole campaign.
Anybody who’s tuned Trump out over the past 8 years got to hear a fresh, new Vance with the same idology just a different way of communicating it!
Vance doing 100+ interviews since his nomination as opposed to Tim Walz only doing one on CNN with Harris showed last night!
Walz went for pizza post debate, avoiding the spin room and questions from press while Vance is sat for network interviews and taking walk and talk questions post debate!
I think come noon today the media will refuse to cover the VP debate and claim "VP debates don't matter" so it’ll be memory holed!
ANYONE who questioned Trump’s choice of Vance should feel silly tonight!
There’s hope for America! A hint of civil discourse tonight brings a lot of excitement for a generation that’s never seen it and only heard of it from parents/grandparents!
I sure hope JD Vance wants to run in 2028!
