Radical Walz, Trump Breaks the Internet, and Kamala's Crash: August 14, 2024

Kamala's short-lived honeymoon and what it means for Republicans!

We are 82 days away from the 2024 election.

Here’s the first-ever edition of “What’s Up, America? 🇺🇸” as I click send and head off to school this morning:

1.) Just when you thought she couldn’t get more radical…

🗞️ “Kamala Harris Is ‘Proud’ to Pick Radical Leftist Tim Walz as Running Mate”

🔥 My take:

Since her coronation as the last-minute Democrat nominee, our top attack against Kamala Harris has been how radical she is. “She was the most radical senator in U.S. history…she was too radical for her own party in 2020 and had to end her bid…she’s pro Defund the Police, pro gun grabbing, anti fracking, and anti-red meat” are all remarks I’ve made on TV since her announcement. So, if I was her campaign team I would have left no stone unturned attempting to find a centrist to be her running mate to win over the majority of Americans sitting in the middle of the aisle.

Instead, she did the opposite.

It appears she took it as a challenge to make her ticket more radical! In case she didn’t already have the pro-Hamas terrorist sympathizing vote before, she certainly does now! She picked a wannabe “Squad” member in Tim Walz…yes, the same Governor who let his state burn to the ground in the summer of 2020’s protests!

To make matters worse, he’s also being accused of stolen valor for abandoning his unit when they were deployed to Iraq, but continues to tout his “service” on the trail.

This choice marked the first major one of her campaign and displayed her tone-deaf, egotistical, rushed, and ill-informed decision making skills!

“Egotistical? Tone Deaf? What are you talking about, Brilyn?!?”

Yes - she skipped over her party’s pretty boy who’s been referred to as the “next Obama” for two reasons: 1) she was afraid Shapiro would overshadow her! She didn’t want to play second fiddle and wants all of the spotlight on her, so even if the Governor could have easily handed her the swingiest of states with Pennsylvania, she skipped over him. 2) She refused to resent the terrorist sympathizing wing of her party by picking proud Jew Josh Shapiro. Instead of proudly standing with Jewish Americans and America’s ally Israel by elevating Shapiro to second in command, she showed her true colors with who has her ear: the same blue-haired crazies you saw on your TV screens shutting down campuses and chanting “Death to America.”

The morning Harris’ announced her VP, Trump posted “THANK YOU” on Truth Social, which echoed a lot of our responses to the pick as he is by far the worst option for them on the shortlist. He has no youth appeal like our 40-year-old JD Vance, he represents an extreme fraction of their party and scares off independents, and has zero name I.D.

But don’t count Walz out.

The last thing we need to do is get cocky. This will be a close election. We have the treat every day like we’re 20 points behind in every state. We can’t get complacent and sit down and take a nap until election day. This doesn’t just go for the campaign, this goes for all of us! Do your part! Spread the word and bring 5 friends to the polls!

2.) “Sorry to keep you waiting - complicated business”

🗞️ “Donald Trump to Be Interviewed by Elon Musk on X”

🔥 My take:

The original influencer, Donald Trump, has returned to mainstream social media at the perfect time to get his message out to my generation in the final weeks leading up to the election! In a time where the Democrats’ nominee has no policy stances, having Trump back on the #1 social media platform posting his agenda to build my generation a prosperous future will be well received by my peers!

Last time I was with President Trump, backstage before a speech, he point-blank asked me how he can win more youth voters and I encouraged him to rejoin mainstream social media to get his message out. I told him Truth Social is great, but it’s an echo chamber and my fellow first time voters aren’t on there. I specifically mentioned X, TikTok, and Instagram as hot spots my generation frequents!

In the weeks after that convo in Montgomery, he rejoined Instagram, he’s launched a TikTok account (now the fastest growing TikTok account in history), and this week he’s back on X and hosted a town hall with Elon Musk with 1 billion listeners, according to Musk! That’s 1 billion - way higher than Super Bowl viewership - more voters who had the opportunity to hear directly from Trump, unfiltered and uncensored!

He’s partnered with influencers, content creators, and streamers to reach hundreds of millions of their followers which is genius: ignore the mainstream media that hates him and talk directly to Gen Z!

Donald Trump entered the political scene with his fiery political tweets when he was just a New York businessman and reality TV star at the time. He understands the importance of harnessing social media to get his message out to my peers where we are - online! This made him a more relatable and down-to-Earth candidate in 2016, and I believe he’s using it correctly to have a repeat in 2024!

3.) “It’s the economy, stupid”

🗞️ “Everything was going Kamala Harris’ way. Then came the market sell-off.”

🔥 My take:

Only 4% of registered voters told the New York Times in the last week of July as “excellent”. The next week, the stock market crashed. Harris’ honeymoon to the race was cut short as Americans woke up the the stock market in free fall! In Kamala Harris language, your 401ks were being “unburdened by what has been”.

Who could’ve predicted this? If only someone warned us about this!

Oh wait, he did!

4 years ago, in a re-election interview, Trump warned us that if Biden and Harris were elected the stock market would “crash”. If you’re keeping tally of all of the things Trump has been right on, I bet your pencil is dull!

In short, the Biden/Harris administration has run the country so far in to the ground the stock market is reacting to the possibility of another 4 years after Harris was selected (not elected - big difference) as their nominee.

Why? You have a senile old man who now is self-admittedly in cognitive decline and a DEI VP attempting to run the country - but America isn’t a video game simulator they can test socialist and communist policies on to see the effects. This is the fragile experiment our Founding Fathers crafted.

I think my favorite remark was Harris’ reaction to the Kamala Crash when she said elect her and she’ll turn the economy around…she’s the sitting VP, she most certainly has the power to turn the country around 3 years ago - but didn’t, because she doesn’t know how.
